Discipleship Training School

A Discipleship Training School (DTS) is the foundational school in Youth With A Mission. For six months you will radically experience God and are transformed through learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. You then put into practice what you have learned through an outreach to the least-reached people of the world (10/40 window).

11 Weeks Colorado Springs

THE LECTURE PHASE

Your Discipleship Training School begins with 11 weeks of intensive discipleship on our campus in Colorado Springs. You and your classmates (every elective comes together for lecture) will explore a range of topics taught by guest speakers from all around the world. Each week will take you deeper in your relationship with God, grow your life and character, and equip you for the adventure of making disciples in all nations.

11 Weeks The 10/40 Window

THE OUTREACH PHASE

After your 11-week lecture phase, your school will head off in different teams for a three-month outreach.

You apply what you have learned and show the love and hope of Christ through evangelism and mercy ministries because we want to care for people’s spiritual and physical needs the way Jesus did.

Some opportunities include: teaching English, working with orphans and widows, serving in refugee camps, anti-human/sex trafficking efforts, front-line worker support, and more.
